Studio Documentation
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our in-house studio releases, installation procedures, performance standards, and custom development.
Are all assets on this site created in-house by RolePlay.ly Studios?
+
Yes, absolutely. RolePlay.ly is not a multi-vendor marketplace. Every single MLO map, custom vehicle fleet, Lua script, and full server base is created, scripted, textured, and supported directly by our in-house team. This guarantees zero backdoor threats, 100% code consistency, and direct developer support.
How do I install downloaded studio assets on my FiveM server?
+
Each download includes a structured archive with clean documentation. Simply unzip the resource into your server's resources/ folder, import any included .sql tables into your MariaDB/MySQL database via phpMyAdmin or HeidiSQL, adjust your configuration settings in config.lua, and append ensure [resource_name] to your server.cfg.
Are your scripts compatible with both QBCore and ESX Legacy?
+
Yes. Our products clearly indicate whether they are built for QBCore, ESX Legacy, Qbox, or Standalone. Our universal systems feature modular bridges that detect your framework automatically and utilize ox_lib and ox_inventory for maximum flexibility.
What is the average Resmon performance of your scripts?
+
We adhere to strict performance benchmarks: all scripts are programmed to stay at 0.00ms to 0.01ms while idle on client threads. We eliminate redundant while-loops, unoptimized tick handlers, and high-frequency net events so your server can host 100+ players smoothly.
Do your MLO maps cause texture loss or FPS drops?
+
No. All interior MLOs created by RolePlay.ly Studios are packaged with proper room audio and portal occlusion culling. Texture files (.ytd) are budgeted and downsampled to stay under 16MB per dictionary, preventing the notorious GTA V memory overflow that causes roads and buildings to disappear.
Can I commission your studio to build a custom script or setup my server?
+
Absolutely! Check out our
Studio Services Page to view our bespoke options. You can submit your project requirements via our service form or open an engineering ticket in our Discord community.
